Make Sense Campaign 2024

Dear all,

On behalf of the Make Sense Campaign Secretariat, we are delighted to share the attached communication plan for the 2024 campaign!

Within the plan, you can find an outline of the exciting range of activities that are planned for the Make Sense Campaign throughout the year and for the annual Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week, taking place 16-21 September 2024.

For those of you who are new to the EHNS, or not familiar with the Make Sense campaign, this initiative is set up by the EHNS with the aim of raising awareness of head and neck cancer and ultimately improve outcomes for patients with the disease by:

  • Driving awareness and education
  • Encouraging earlier presentation, diagnosis and referral
  • Improving quality of care for patients

The Make Sense Campaign is a unique initiative that has been ongoing for 10+ years. In 2023, a total of 18 countries took part in the awareness week with a range of impactful activities, with one common goal in mind: improving outcomes for patients with head and neck cancer. You can read our results report here.

The success of the Campaign relies on the support and involvement of countries across Europe and beyond. To ensure the Campaign continues to build its presence around the world, the EHNS needs your support and participation so more countries get involved and our important message is heard.
