Professor at the University of Deusto. He studied medicine at the Francisco de Miranda National Experimental University in Venezuela, graduating in 2009.
Since 2016, he has been working as specialists in the otolaryngology service of Donostia University Hospital, in the area of Head and Neck Surgery.
In 2017 he obtained the Board or European Title of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
He has written more than 40 articles between Book Chapters, Papers, and in Specialty Magazines, some of them in International Magazines with a high impact factor. He works as a reviewer for the Acta Otorrinolaringológica Española, the British Journal of Medicine, and the International Journal of Medical Informatics, among others.
He has participated in numerous Specialty Congresses, mainly in Spain, but also in the Czech Republic, France, Portugal, Italy, South Africa, Belgium, and England.
His clinical interests are head and neck tumor surgery, both benign and malignant, rhinology, as well as general ENT. Regarding basic research, his interest and work are based on the study of salivary gland tumor pathology and laryngeal cancer.
He is currently working on: - Head & Neck oncological and reconstructive surgery. Also in Salivary Gland Diseases treatment. - Machine learning applications in ENT - Head & Neck Surgery. - 3D Bioprinting application in ENT- Head & Neck Surgery.
