Professor at the University of Deusto. He studied medicine at the Francisco de Miranda National Experimental University in Venezuela, graduating in 2009.
Since 2016, he has been working as a specialist in the otolaryngology service of Donostia University Hospital, in the area of Head and Neck Oncological and Reconstructive Surgery.
In 2017 he obtained the Board or European Title of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.

He has written more than 200 articles between Book Chapters, Papers, and works as associated editor in recognised journal from editorial like Springer/Nature or CellPress.

He has participated in numerous Head & Neck Congresses, mainly in Spain, but also in the Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, South Africa, Belgium, and England.

His clinical interests are head and neck oncological and reconstructive microsurgery. Regarding basic research, his interest and work are based on the study of salivary gland tumor pathology and laryngeal cancer. As well as the applications of 3D bioprinting and Artificial Intelligence in the Head & Neck field.

He is currently working on: - Head & Neck oncological and reconstructive surgery. Also in Salivary Gland Diseases treatment including sialendoscopy. - Machine learning applications in ENT - Head & Neck Surgery. - 3D Bioprinting application in ENT- Head & Neck Surgery.
