Prav Praveen is a dually qualified Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, based at University Hospitals Birmingham, UK. He completed his training in the West Midlands and a subsequent Head and Neck Oncology Fellowship Programme from Liverpool having passed the FRCS exam with an Intercollegiate Medal.
He is currently the Clinical Lead for Pan Birmingham MDT for Head and Neck cancer surgery. He also sits on the Board for European Head and Neck Society, having previously been an Elected Member of the Council for British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the Clinical Lead for the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University Hospitals Birmingham.
He has been a Principal Investigator for numerous trials, holds more than 25 publications and has authored multiple book chapters. He runs multiple Head and Neck Courses, has presented key note lectures in various National and International Meetings.
His clinical interest lies in Oral Oncology, Head and Neck Surgery and Reconstruction, Salivary gland Surgery and Maxillofacial Trauma. He also takes keen interest in training.
